Early Childhood Education

For young learners, Kinderstation uses the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), which blends play and structured learning to develop essential skills. The preschool program is divided into three classes based on age: Bumble Bee Class (1.5-2 years old), Beetle Class (2-3 years old), and Dragonfly Class (3-4 years old). These early years focus on building fine and gross motor skills, communication abilities, and creativity. The school also incorporates the Montessori Method which is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play, soft block exercises where children build and explore with blocks, and the Glenn Doman method which involves the teaching of words through flashcards. These were incorporated to help children develop early literacy skills.

In the kindergarten level, students continue their learning journey in two stages: Caterpillar Class (TK A, ages 4-5) and Butterfly Class (TK B, ages 5-6). The focus at these stages is on developing independence, problem-solving skills, and personal responsibility.

Primary Education

Kinderstation’s primary school follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) from the UK, combined with the National Curriculum of Indonesia. This approach ensures that students receive a broad education that strengthens both local and global perspectives.

  • Language Arts (English): Students engage in daily reading and writing activities to build confidence in English. They also have dedicated Language Arts lessons twice a week to enhance their vocabulary and comprehension skills.

  • Mathematics: Learning is interactive and hands-on. This encourages students to explore concepts through problem-solving and investigation.

  • Bahasa Indonesia: Lessons help students become proficient in the national language.
